What do I do about Small Drip Detected?
Small Drip Detected is a warning that a small drip was potentially detected during a Health Test.
To find the small drip, take the following steps:
1. Look. Visually inspect your faucets, shower heads and hose bibs for drips. Tighten the handles to make sure everything is tightly closed. Now, open your Control Panel in the Flo by Moen app to run a Health Test. If it still detects a leak, move on to Step 2.
2. Listen. Listen to your fixtures. Can you hear running water from a toilet? Toilet flappers often wear and tear over time, and need to be replaced to ensure proper sealing. If you don’t hear anything, move to Step 3.
3. Stop. Isolate your faucets, toilets, pool valves, ice makers, and other fixtures by closing their individual water supply lines. This means closing the angle stops for each fixture, one at a time. Re-run the Health Test. If it no longer detects a small drip, it was coming from one of the fixtures you closed.
4. Ask. If you aren’t able to identify and resolve the issue (or you just want some additional help), email support@meetflo.com or call (844) MEET-FLO.
